The City of Hoover Human Resources Department has a variety of responsibilities, including: recruiting and hiring new employees, providing training and professional development opportunities, ensuring legal compliance with employment laws and regulations, administering employee benefits and compensation packages, managing employee relations (including resolving conflicts and promoting a positive workplace culture), and maintaining accurate records of employee performance, attendance, and other important information. 

The Hoover HR department acts as a bridge between the city and its employees, with the goal of creating and maintaining a productive, compliant, and engaged workforce.
