The following codes are adopted by the City of Hoover effective January 1, 2015:

  • 2015 International Residential Code - 1 and 2 Family Dwellings with revisions
  • 2015 International Plumbing Code with revisions
  • 2015 International Mechanical Code with revisions
  • 2015 International Fuel Gas Code with revisions
  • 2015 International Fire Code with revisions
  • 2015 International Energy Conservation Code with revisions and exceptions
  • 2015 International Building Code with revisions
  • 2014 National Electrical Code with revisions
  • 2015 International Property Maintenance Code with amendments
