An Important Message from the City of Hoover Economic Development Office
Good afternoon, and thank you for being a vital part of the City of Hoover business community. Together we are stronger. Your business in the City of Hoover is greatly appreciated. The City wants to make you aware of several resources for businesses impacted by COVID-19:
- Governor Ivey is STRONGLY encouraging Alabama’s small businesses to begin applying for relief funding as soon as possible. Information, including a letter from the Governor, can be found on the City’s COVID-19 business resources website.
- The City has established a program to pair impacted businesses and business volunteers during the COVID-19 crisis. Forms are available on the City’s website for 1) volunteers to register to help, and 2) businesses to register for assistance. There are brief questions of volunteers to indicate where they feel comfortable providing guidance. If you would like to volunteer or be connected with a volunteer, please see the links below:
- The City has established a business telephone hotline to answer questions from businesses. The number is (205) 739-7162, and the line is operated by City staff Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- The City of Hoover is partnering with the Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA) and area allies to get a pulse on how our business community is being impacted. Please take five minutes to complete this brief assessment. Information you and other businesses submit will help develop and advocate for the most relevant solutions in conjunction with the State.
We will continue to communicate with you during this crisis. We can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for all you do for the Hoover community. Together, we are stronger.
We want to be respectful of your time. You may opt-out of any future communications by following the link at the bottom of this email.
