The Bluff Park Art Show holds its annual event on the first Saturday of October. The show has grown from 65 artists to more than 150, and attracts over 40,000 people each year. Proceeds from the show go towards improving the arts in the greater Birmingham area. In addition to art, several food vendors are scattered throughout the park. Children ages 3-8 can be entertained with the hands-on art activities. Music will be provided by high school jazz bands.  Admission to the show is FREE!

Rediscover the culture and contributions of Native Alabamians as life takes shape through demonstrations of flintknapping, cooking and hunting weapons, activities like leaf pounding, beading, corn grinding, gourd painting and pottery, and children’s games and activities. $5 donation for visitors 18 and older. $3 passport for school-age children wanting to participate in take-home crafts.
