Hoover Parks & Recreation Foundation

The Hoover Parks and Recreation Foundation was formed in 1991 for the purpose of promoting, assisting, strengthening and advancing the quality and availability of programs, facilities and opportunities for the residents of the City of Hoover.

The Foundation works closely with the Parks and Recreation Department to meet the needs of the community. The Foundation solicits outside funding and hosts a variety of fund raisers to work toward the purpose. The Foundation is a non-profit organization with donations being tax deductible as allowed by law. 100% of the funds/proceeds donated to the Foundation benefit the community.

You have the opportunity to participate as an individual, business, corporation, club or organization. Contributions can be made in a variety of ways. See “Ways to Give” on our Hoover Foundation Brochure.
