The Mountain Grass Unit has performed at music festivals, private functions and multiple music venues, playing bluegrass tunes and adding a bluegrass touch to country, jazz, funk, rock, and even metal. Senior Aquarist Nichole Cleveland shares some of the unique challenges of urban aquariums, including maintaining a constant supply of salt water, maintaining a varied living collection of animals, and adapting aquatic habitats to an existing structure. Nichole will also share information about some exciting projects going on behind the scenes in the World of Water, such as graduate research projects on Tilapia and Sharks.
