Send us a photo of your favorite animal friend enjoying a book or dressed as a literary figure to celebrate our 2021 summer reading theme, Tails and Tales. You and your pet could win a special prize! 1. Send your photo to Deni at hvrefdesk@hooverlibrary.org beginning June 1. Include the animal's name and a caption describing what they are doing. Large and clear images are appreciated. 2. Vote online until July 31. Info on how to vote coming soon! 3. Winners will be announced the first week of August. All photos must be original work, taken by the entrants. No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person. By entering this contest, you are giving us permission to post your entry and caption on library social media, the library website and on library property.
Pick up a reading log at the Fiction or Nonfiction desk or register online at hooverlibrary.beanstack.org. Read or listen to books! Log titles read. For every five books, register for drawings. Win great prizes donated by the Friends of the Library.
Summer Reading at Hoover Library is an annual program that brings children and families into the library for reading and fun. Read and redeem prizes from June 1 through July 31. Pick up a reading log at the library or log your reading using the website: hooverlibrary.beanstack.org. Stop by a kid's desk when you reach a goal to receive a prize.
